About The Event
M/Others on the Mic
Friday 9 October, 10.30am-12noon, Exeter Library
Join hosts Lizzy Humber and Eleanor Viola for a relaxed and revolutionary daytime performance space in Exeter, designed to amplify m/other artists and voices. Expect poetry, songs and stand-up. This is a relaxed and lively space designed for parents, where children are welcome too.
Everyone is welcome in the audience. Expect an uplifting, supportive and empowering gig– in the middle of the day! So whether you’re in need of a bit of culture, a community or just an early lunch break – you are welcome!
Parent Friendly: Expect toys, mats, comfy cushions (as well as chairs!), buggy park, baby changing, no shhing required, come/go as you need, a supportive and welcoming space where kids have equal status.
Content: Adult centred, this sometimes can include strong language and adult themes. We find younger children tend not to notice as they are…
